Greece is a Schengen area country. Canadian citizens do not need a visa for travel to countries within the Schengen area. However, visa-free travel only applies to stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Stays are cumulative and include visits to any Schengen area country.
We’re flying Air Canada non-stop between Toronto and Athens.
Travel medical insurance is not included in the trip cost. It is your responsibility to secure travel medical insurance for the trip. International Heritage Tours will give you the option to purchase insurance from them.
Early March in Greece features mild, spring-like conditions with average daytime temperatures in Athens and coastal areas ranging from 9°C to 17°C (48°F–63°F), offering pleasant, sunny weather for sightseeing. It is cool in the evenings, and you should be prepared for frequent rain showers. Pack layers, including a warm jacket for evenings, comfortable walking shoes, and a waterproof raincoat or umbrella.
